From Overwhelmed Owner to Dog Trainer.

I have always wanted to work with animals. I followed a different path for ten years as a Cardiac Physiologist, but it never felt right. Everything changed when I began training my spaniel Ruby. I became fascinated by how dogs think and learn. When Branston, our lab puppy, arrived, that interest became something deeper. I realised how much I cared about the early stages of a dog’s life and the impact they have on everything that follows.

Branston’s adolescence taught me even more. His behaviour became challenging and I felt frustrated and unsure. When I learned what was happening in his brain, everything made sense. It shifted the way I saw dogs and the way I saw myself as an owner. I stopped expecting him to cope and started supporting him. That experience shaped the foundation of my work today.
